I am originally from Long Island, New York, and I moved to the Charlotte area with my husband 8 years ago. I obtained a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Empire State University in Human Services and graduated with a master’s degree in Social Work in 2019 from Winthrop University in SC.
I realized at an early age that the world could be cruel at times, but having a non-judgmental person to provide support and lend a listening ear can mean the world to those struggling. I knew I wanted to be that person for others and made it my life’s purpose.
My passion is working with people ages 12 & up, couples and families using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Family Systems Theory. I am passionate about working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse, and women’s issues. As your therapist, the most important thing to me is that you feel supported and encouraged while moving forward, identifying your strengths, and meeting your goals.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband of over 10 years, our 3 kids, and our animals, which consist of 3 cats and a Bernese Mountain Dog. We enjoy fostering cats and kittens to rehabilitate and connect them to their forever home.
I look forward to getting to know you!
